PANELTECH.US and PERUMDA Aneka Dharma, heralding a significant stride towards sustainable development in Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Taipei, 17 November, 2023 - Indonesian Economic and Trade Office (IETO) in Taipei, in conjunction with 8 Jet Industrial, organized the signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between PANELTECH.US and PERUMDA Aneka Dharma, heralding a significant stride towards sustainable development in Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This landmark event brought together key stakeholders committed to revolutionizing Bantul's landscape through innovative strategies in waste management, probiotic fertilizers, education, tourism, and eco-conscious housing, poised to fortify the region's socio-economic fabric and environmental resilience. The signing was witnessed by the Representative of IETO in Taipei, Mr. Iqbal S. Shofwann, and Regent of Bantul, Mr. H. Abdul Halim Muslih.

PANELTECH.US is a green solution company with a mission to significantly reduce carbon emissions. With the focus on waste management solution, PANELTECH.US collaborates with PERUMDA Aneka Dharma, a Regional Owned Company of Bantul Regency, to work in this project. This partnership envisions the transformation of Bantul Regency into a paragon of sustainability and innovation, championing conscientious resource management and striving towards a zero-waste ecosystem.

The embrace of circular economics stands as a linchpin of this initiative, aiming to eliminate waste and reduce the environmental footprint of economic activities. The transition of Bantul Regency into a circular, zero-waste model promises to address resource scarcity, environmental concerns, and economic growth concurrently.

The collaboration underscores a multifaceted approach to waste management, transforming Bantul Regency’s discarded materials into invaluable resources. A pioneering facet of this endeavor lies in the conversion of waste to green lumber, an innovative process that harnesses discarded timber and repurposes it into high-quality, eco-friendly construction material. This initiative not only minimizes waste but also promotes sustainable building practices, fortifying Bantul Regency’s infrastructure against future challenges.

Moreover, the partnership spearheads a groundbreaking initiative: the conversion of dirty waste to hydrogen, a renewable source of energy. By employing cutting-edge technologies, the consortium aims to extract clean energy from previously unusable waste materials, reducing environmental pollution while simultaneously contributing to Bantul Regency’s energy independence. This innovation paves the way for a cleaner, more sustainable energy landscape, positioning Bantul Regency at the forefront of green energy adoption.

The signing took place in IETO Office in Taipei as part of the Bantul Regency Government visit to PANELTECH.US's beta site in Taoyuan and Keelung from November 16th to 19th. This visit marks the inauguration of the PanelTech.US Resilient Bantul Regency project, reinforcing the dedication to a sustainable and resilient future for the region. This signing is also a follow-up to the results of IETO visit to Bantul Regency on October 24, 2023, as a series of Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) activities.

On his speech, Representative of IETO appreciate PANELTECH.US for having a partnership with PERUMDA Aneka Dharma to overcome the waste challenge in Bantul and hope that this partnership would give a positive impact to the Bantul Regency’s waste management and could move its economy as well. The Regent of Bantul stated that after the signing of the MoA, the Bantul Regency Government will make a preparation as fast as possible, as a sign of support for this project.
