Leading this charge is Tatung Company, in collaboration with its subsidiary Tatung System Technologies Inc., which is set to establish an AI computing data center in Nusantara, advancing Indonesia's technological infrastructure and AI capabilities across the region.

Tatung Company emphasized that Indonesia's government plans for Nusantara's initial infrastructure development phase will cost $32.7 billion, aiming to ensure 100% digital and IT connectivity for all residents and businesses. This includes proactive planning to build an AI computing data center, which will be the backbone of smart public services in the new capital city.

"The specifications for the proposed AI computing data center include 10,000 CPU cores, 78TB of memory capacity, and 17PB of storage capacity, equipped with NVIDIA's H100 core to enhance performance for generative AI computing," highlighted Tatung Company. The project has successfully passed the proposal evaluation by The Nusantara Capital Authority, securing qualification to participate in the second phase of conceptual validation.
