Expert Lai Zhaohong from the Taoyuan District Agricultural Improvement Station of the Taiwan Technical Mission in the Republic of Indonesia recently initiated an agricultural exchange trip. This trip marks a pivotal step forward, aiming to delve into Indonesia's vegetable marketing channels and pave the way for the adoption of Taiwanese technology to modernize local farming methods.


The primary objective of the trip was to leverage Indonesia's agricultural experiences and discuss the transition from traditional to smart agriculture. Recognizing the distinct coexistence of different agricultural generations, experts eagerly sought to understand the overall counseling model of the technical team to further enhance the adoption of innovative technologies in Indonesia's agricultural practices.


During the trip, the technical team engaged in insightful exchanges with experts in the agricultural field, emphasizing the critical importance of blending traditional wisdom with modern techniques. Through comprehensive counseling programs, Taiwanese technology is being introduced to assist local farmers in achieving agricultural transformation, resulting in heightened efficiency and profitability.


Moreover, the technical team's visit to local supermarkets such as Yogyamall and Papaya, along with the Karawang Project Cargo Center, provided invaluable insights into marketing strategies. Understanding how the technical team assists farmers in effectively marketing their products to upscale local supermarkets underscores the holistic approach to agricultural development.


With the valuable insights gained from the trip, there is immense potential for sustained growth and advancement in Indonesian agriculture. By embracing Taiwanese technology and drawing from Indonesia's own experiences, farmers can chart a course toward modernization and heightened productivity.
