Indonesia, with a population of 270 million and ranked 4th globally, has the largest Muslim population in the world, presenting an opportunity for Taiwan to actively promote a Muslim-friendly environment and integrate its unique resources to enrich travel experiences for this vast market. This initiative includes offering exclusive Muslim-centric itineraries with a wide selection of gourmet restaurants catering to Muslim preferences.

Zhou Shibi, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Information Center, emphasized, "We are actively promoting a Muslim-friendly environment and integrating Taiwan's unique resources to create enriched travel experiences." Zhou further remarked on the potential for developing Indonesia's market in areas such as medical tourism and travel incentives, which are key targets for Taiwan's tourism growth.

Taiwan's representative in Indonesia, Chen Chung, highlighted Taiwan's burgeoning AI industry, recently showcased at Computex Taipei, urging Indonesian tech enthusiasts to visit Taiwan. "This is the best time to understand the AI revolution," Chen emphasized, underlining Taiwan's pivotal role in global technology.

The exhibition showcased Taiwan's varied travel products, combining cultural experiences with local culinary delights like Taiwan-style cold noodles and roasted sweet potatoes. Indonesian travel agency representative Jonathan Jodie highlighted Sun Moon Lake in Nantou as a top attraction for Indonesian tourists due to its renowned natural beauty and summer events like hot air balloon festivals.
