The TCA internship program also opens up opportunities for participants who have completed the program to continue their careers at the company as permanent employees.

Taipei, April, 14, 2023 - IETO Taipei is again holding IT-Connects 2023 activities with the theme "TCA Internship Program Seminar for Indonesian Students". This event aims to socialize the internship program organized by TCA (Talent Circulation Alliance). IT-Connects 2023 was opened by Mr. Zulmartinof, Deputy Head of IETO Taipei. He said that Taiwan has now entered the status of an "aging society", while the need for human resources is still high to encourage economic growth. With a total of 18,000 Indonesian students in Taiwan, Mr. Zulmartinof believes that Indonesian students can take advantage of the opportunities that exist in Taiwan, and the presence of the TCA program really helps bridge the needs of Taiwanese industry with Indonesian talent.

Also attending this event was Mr. Henry Lin and Ms. Zhao Zun-Li, TCA Program Officer of the Institute for Information Industry (III). In her presentation, Ms. Zhao Zun-Li explained about TCA and other talent development programs provided by TCA. In particular, Ms. Zhao Zun-Li explained in more detail the internship program for foreign students in Taiwan. Also present at this socialization event were three Indonesian citizens who were alumni of the TCA internship program. They shared the various benefits and challenges they faced while undergoing the internship program with all the participants present, to provide an overview and preparation for participants who were interested in taking part in the internship program. The TCA internship program also opens up opportunities for participants who have completed the program to continue their careers at the company as permanent employees. Chynthia Fang and Claudio Aditya, TCA alumni who attended, are currently working at the place where they ran an internship program the previous year.

The enthusiasm of the participants present could be seen from the lively interactive question and answer session. An explanation of the procedures, requirements and timeline of the TCA internship program has been provided by Mr. Henry Lin and Ms. Zhao Zun-Li. Registration for this internship program will close on April 27 2023 and will be done via the TCA website. This program is only for students who are still actively attending school until November 2023, so Indonesian students who have graduated can take part in the job fair event organized by TCA on June 2 2023.

To reach more participants, this seminar event was also broadcast via IDEI's Facebook and YouTube accounts. The IT-Connects program itself is an effort by KDEI Taipei to bridge the needs of Taiwan's industrial world with Indonesian talent. Delivered by Mr. Zulmartinof, KDEI Taipei is ready to facilitate and collaborate with Taiwanese educational and industrial institutions, in order to increase cooperation in building the capacity of Indonesian and Taiwanese talents.
